STORIES ETCHED IN STONE
The stories that endure are not those written with ink, but those etched in stone, woven into streets, and carried through memories. Montenegro and Italy share such a story—one of an unbreakable bond, a friendship that has stood the test of time. Between Montenegro and Italy lies more than just the sea—there is a bridge built on history, culture, and heritage. From royal alliances to modern-day connections, these two nations have been bound together through architecture, art, fashion, and the spirit of hospitality.

When Montenegrin princess Jelena Petrović Njegoš stepped into the Italian court, she did not bring just a name—she carried the warmth of Montenegro, the strength of her ancestors, and the dignity of Montenegrian people. As Queen of Italy, she became an emblem of grace, compassion, and refined style, leaving an imprint far beyond the palace walls.

VIA DE IVANGRAD- TERAMO STREET
But this friendship was not confined to the royal courts—it flourished in cities and squares. The Montenegrin town of Ivangrad (modern-day Berane) and the Italian city of Teramo became twin cities, bound by a spirit of brotherhood and collaboration. So profound is their connection that Teramo still carries a piece of this friendship in its heart—“Ivangrad Street” (Via Ivangrad), a tribute to the lasting ties between two nations. In return, a street in Ivangrad proudly bears the name “Teramo Street,” a symbol of respect and enduring unity.

THE LEGEND OF THE TAILOR FROM PRATO
In the north of Montenegro, tailoring was never about fame. No labels, no spotlights — just one rule passed down through generations:
Never craft anything weaker than what your father or mother wore.
In Tuscany, artisans shaped fabric into elegance, symmetry, refinement.
In the north — they shaped it into strength, weight, and respect.
A manufacturer from Prato, after visiting a small workshop in the mountains, once said:
“In Tuscany, we learn how to refine fabric.
Up there — in those hills — they listen to it.”
This was not a matter of style. It was a matter of conviction.
Two worlds, making the same thing — for entirely different reasons.
One, in the name of aesthetics. The other, in the name of honor.
Viett was born between these two points: the precision of Prato and the pride of the north.

The heart of the story
" Cielo Azzuro- Pietra Calda"
This bond is not an exception, but a tradition. Since ancient times, a heritage-led collaboration in tailoring and textiles has been part of our story — now crowned by Viett with the mark: “CIELO AZZURRO, PIETRA CALDA”. This slogan carries the essence of what the two shores share: the azure sky above and the rocky mountains below, where the sun writes its most perfect odes. As a tribute to this enduring friendship, each good will bear this emblem — a reminder for generations to come that true values lie in mutual respect.
